I've released the beta with partial translation and partial doc.

Hello,
I've updated the second phase.
Still a lot to do (I exclude Japanese voices for now).
Regards,

[@ Electrocaid]
You can tell Tony's friends that there was a first release (compatibility with Mugen 1.0) and I'm currently working on translation.

Un peu d'aide, depuis la Guild, qui est encore plus complet que je ne le pensais :

Do you list warehouse ?
Do you list fan site with Mugen subsection ?
Does this list have an order ?
Could you add a little note after links so we know where we're going (creator's name site, forum, community, wiki).

Maybe, a visual command list (said maybe because it take times, and I'm very slow).

[26/05/2014]
The italian to english translation is made by G.o.D. / Alex Sinigaglia (MFG account: http://mugenguild.com/forum/profile/alex-sinigaglia-79757).
The update of the sff is only a conversion to sffv2 format and remove any sprite unused in the game, except for logo, which I resized all into 640*480.

[08/09/2014]
Alex Sinigaglia quit the translation. Will have to look for a new translator later if I want to finish this project. Thanks for his help.

[01/10/2014]
Begin the French translation.

[17/10/2014]
Finish French translation of English ones, begin the command list.

What's done :
- Translate option menu
- Fix logo storyboard
- Fix all characters intro/ending
- Fix system.def file to use 320*240 resolution
- Fix font names to be with system.def
- Added Mugen 1.0 missing fonts

To do :
- Fix glitch in characters related to new version of Mugen (?? not known, not tested)

Available :
http://zesensei.free.fr

[technical note/reminder]
Storyboards in this full game seems to have numerous time the same scene name. Previous version of Mugen plays scene one after one, without using scene number. It seems Mugen 1.0 use this number, so most storyboard using same scene number are messed.
I simply change scene numbers and it fix it (well, I also removed comments to have a more compacted view).
I also add the [info] section to the storyboard, to precise to Mugen engine the storyboard use 320,240 coords.

Hello,
I'm updating TonyADV full game based on Bastard to Mugen 1.0 (stable version).
This is done with original author permission.

The full work will be done in two (big) phases :
- The original full game will be updated to Mugen 1.0 version.
In this phase, all original work is kept (I've simply translated menu options in english).
Only bugs are fixed (in sff, in storyboards).
The aim of this phase is to give public (new players) a way to play and discover this great game.

- The original work will be translated
In this phase, all Italian text (maybe speeches, we'll see) are extracted and replaced by English (Japanese, for speeches) ones.
An Italian version is kept, with respect to original work.
I will use the new Mugen localization option to choose between versions, so only one package will be downloadable for all.

This post and next ones will be updated during work progress.
It keeps me motivated and inform all about what have to been done or need to.
Regards,

PS : If you are Italian and can help me translate texts into english, if you're a Bastard fan, or if you are interested in this project, feel free to join, I know I work slowly.

[edit 28/05/2014]
Phase 01 done (I don't find bugs for now, I need people for tests). Published on http://zesensei.free.fr
Phase 02 WIP.

another remark: run fine with your first instal method
but impossible to try with the second one: the renaming of the shortcut's link is refused...
 ??? ??? ???
Don't know why, it works on my Win 7 Pro (tested several times) and on Win XP, and on Linux with Wine.

First public realease.
- updated all musics
- Added music to credits
- Slightly change title place
- Added a readme for install and credits
- Fixed word warp during Win Quote
http://zesensei.free.fr (somewhere in the screenpack page)

The download should be ok in 1hour.

- title screen: perctly running (would it be possible to have same vertical distance between words of the title?)
Possible.
- option screen: hahahahaha nice trick my friend...  ;D (btw: can't matrix fnt be used there too? / can't option menu have its own snd?)
It's possible to change font, but not recommanded. No sound for option screen if I remember well.
- select screen: OMG! won-der-ful (one last point: would it be possible to center the mode title?)
The mode title is on the left because stage names are on the right. To avoid most letter collisions (with stage's long file names) it's better to keep this mode title on left.
- victory screen
I will see. Should be fixed.
- credits: normal display but still no sound... list is short, lol ;) [i propose to tell a word about the mini portraits idea with the release & to let creators a period, like till end of august, for sending a pic or an avatar with sunglasses...]... runs perfectly till the end...
No sound... I forgot to include it.
- help menu: to precise that mugen museum isn't included ??  ;D
Yep.
1/ a short readme/instal note with credits for HLoader?
Readme with install notes and credits wil be included in the final release.
3/ for the public release, wouldn't it be great to put some shots from the museum with your SP [if possible, lol]?
No prob, better to have a screenshot of the select screen.
I can do other screenshot myself (and will for release).

I think I will continue to work on it next week.
Regards,

That's it.
On my computer it crash on another %.
Well, I've updated the package.
Can you give it a try and tell me if it's ok.
- Added music to intro
- Change duration of logo
- Fixed an error in intro text
- Added animated HD Bg for Title, Select, VS & Win screen
- Changed fonts to display name on lifebars
- Changed the Title
- Changed VS screen, added VS logo
- Changed duration of Credits, much longer (not patient enough to wait and test till the end)
- Changed Win screen layout (added foreground)
http://zesensei.free.fr/tmp/mmatrix.zip
Maybe some storyboard will load or not. Because of Mugen memory lack, it's random (sometimes you got the intro, sometime the logo, rarely both).

To test.
Once you have open the DOS prompt (with cmd) you have to go into the directory where you unzip the bench-files.
For exemple, let say you unzip the bench files into D:\My Docs\my files\bench-mugen
Then you have to type in the box :
Quote
D:
cd "D:\My Docs\my files\bench-mugen"
Quotes are necessary ! (especially if you have spaces in the path)
Then you should have the beginning of your prompt that the directory where all is unziped.
And then you could type
Quote
sprmake2.exe data/mmatrix/selectsff.def
It's usual for Mugen creators that do not use GUI (older ones, guess).

Hello,
Bug reported :
http://elecbyte.com/forum/index.php?topic=4721.0
&
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/sprmake2-exe-limits-random-crash-big-data-ingestion-159209.0.html
With more test I found that even if I use several sff files instead of only one Mugen seems to have memory issues (not related to computer's one) when dealing with so much data.
I'll try to do with it by reducing the number of frame as possible, but don't know how it will react when you'll put characters init.

Miss too. Further searches seems to show a king of memory issue.
Not related to computer but tool limit.
I will continue to investigate, and can give you material to reproduce the error.
I think I will also post it in Elecbyte forum, so they can confirm or not it's related to the tool itself or not.

Hello,
The problem is not related to memory, as I thought.
I'm investigating on it.
